Accent Chairs Under $300

Decorating a house solo is not for the faint of heart. Decorating a house solo on a budget that wants to be baller but can’t be? Well, that’s inventive.

A few weeks ago I was discussing decor and furniture with a friend and could not stress enough the importance of second hand shopping. It’s fun and shiny and glamorous to get something brand new (and trust me I have old and new) but the reality is, character comes from pieces carrying stories from the past. They offer a uniqueness to a space that is just hard to find with mass produced items coming off a production line out of warehouses. It’s all about balance. I have spent an obscene amount of my free time scouring the internet for unique pieces that will effortlessly contribute character and diversity to a space, and I’m excited to share them here. My favorite places to browse are eBay, Chairish, and 1stdibs, but I find 1stdibs to be quite pricey and it is much harder to find something within a reasonable budget. Craigslist tends to be very hit or miss, but when you hit, it can be an absolute home run. sometimes people don’t know the value of the things they’ve held on to forever.

In all of this research, I found a few gems I wanted to share. These accent chairs are mostly under $300, with the exception of 2 options I think are just too good to pass up, I had to include them. Urban Outfitters is a great space to find reasonable furniture that has character to it, but I do question the quality. The cane chair currently in my living room has held up great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great cane lounge chair.

Most of this selection comes from deep vintage browsing holes on evenings and weekends. I find the best balance for an accent chair is something with simplicity but still a personality all its own. These are some of my favorites from the last few weeks!
